After some midweek buffets and a jacket potato event, a hog roast in Northampton was our destination at the end of this week. All our staff were impressed by the picturesque nature of the town. Yes, it is a town, albeit one of the largest in the UK – with a population of over 210’000!
The location for the hog roast was a village hall located near the River Nene. The reason for the event was the celebration of the silver wedding anniversary of one of our regular clients. What better way to celebrate 25 years of happy marriage than with a gloriously delicious slow roasted pig in the company of your family and friends? Unfortunately, the weather was not on its best behaviour, as it sent some rather late and unexpected snow our way. Despite this, however, the guests and happy couple all enjoyed a brilliant day filled with good food, laughs and reminisces.

However, we still made good use of our high-quality gazebos so guests had a place to shelter under when acquiring their freshly made and softly floured baps, filled with succulent pork. If we are required to place our hog roast outside in the form of a stand at your event, we always manage to keep the rain away.
